Explosion in a Chinese chemical plant claims lives, injures others.

Another explosion in a Chinese chemical plant has left two people dead and five others hospitalized, according to the Xinhua news agency. The accident occurred when a waste water treatment device blew up Sunday night at the plant in Dezhou City in China’s eastern Shandong Province.

No chemical leaks were detected at the site owned by Lianhetech, a private high-tech chemical corporation that produces agro products, pharmaceuticals and intermediates.
