Cleveland Vibrator Company releases a new, downloadable white paper entitled, “Effective Use and Maintenance of Rotary Electric Vibrators.” The paper presents guidelines to help manufacturing professionals select, position and maintain the proper rotary electric vibrator for their applications.

The 10-page white paper—authored by Engineer David Strong—specifically addresses how rotary electric vibrators improve material flow through bins, hoppers, feeders and screeners, according to the company. These vibrators are used in a variety of industries, primarily in foundry, food, agriculture, concrete, mining, recycling and powder bulk industries.

Sections of the white paper include: Proper Installation, Setup and Operation; Adjusting the Eccentric Weight; Proper Vibrator Synchronization; Using a Strobe Tachometer; Repair and Reconditioning. The white paper also features four-color illustrations, including a cut-away view of a rotary electric vibrator and proper positioning of the vibrators on certain equipment.
