Conco Reports Safety Milestone

Conco has not encountered an OSHA lost time safety incident in more than 1 million man-hours.

Conco Services Corporation, a provider of condenser and heat exchanger services to the power generation and industrial process industries, reports that it has not encountered an OSHA lost time safety incident in more than 1 million man-hours. The achievement took 2 1/2 years, according to Conco.. 

“We are doing our due diligence,” says Craig Lawther, CSP, Conco corporate director of safety.  “We have a renewed focus on safety with updated safety procedures and, above all, effective supervisors who are making sure their people are following rules and working safely.”

Conco’s industrial division also received an “injury free” award for zero injuries during 2015 at the Dow Chemical St. Charles operations site, according to the company. The industrial division was nominated for an “Outstanding Safety Performance 2015” award in the Environmental Services - 2,000 to Less Than 10,000 Work Hours category.
