Yokogawa Corporation of America names Daniel L. Duncan president and chief executive officer of Yokogawa’s North American operations. Duncan is responsible for all day-to-day operations in North America.

Duncan began his career as an engineer with Georgia Power Company. Later, he led a systems integration firm focused on both discrete and process automation projects, followed by roles in industrial distribution at companies including Honeywell Industrial Automation and Control. Duncan joined Siemens Energy & Automation in 1997, holding various management roles in automation marketing, regional and national sales. Most recently, he was vice president and general manager of the Oil & Gas Division of Siemens Energy, Inc. in Houston, TX and responsible for the Americas region. His divisional portfolio included power generation, compression, conceptual engineering, real-time data intelligence solutions, process safety engineering, water treatment solutions, integrated electrical solutions and subsea products. Duncan earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
