Victrex Opens Third PAEK Plant

Victrex commissioned the first production stream of its $138 million, third polyaryletherketone (PAEK) manufacturing plant.

Victrex commissioned the first production stream of its $138 million (£90 million) third polyaryletherketone (PAEK) manufacturing plant. Recent investments increase Victrex´s production capacity by 70% to more than 16 million pounds per year, according to the company. Alongside its PAEK resin capacity, Victrex also continues its downstream investment in APTIV film, pipe, tape and medical components, enabling the company to supply complete solutions.

The new PAEK facility went into operation in the northwest UK in April.
