Archroma closes the acquisition of BASF’s global textile chemicals business. This is the company’s second strategic transaction following its corporate carve-out from Clariant in 2013, after acquiring a stake in the textile dyes and chemicals manufacturer M. Dohmen in 2014.
About 225 employees globally are impacted by the transaction, according to Archroma, with approximately 175 of those located in Asia. The combined textiles businesses will remain headquartered in Singapore.
