Chilworth Presents Fire, Explosion And Thermal Hazards Courses

Series of five one-day training courses addresses explosion hazards.

Chilworth Global will offer five one-day courses on fire, explosion and thermal hazards beginning April 11-15 at its office in Plainsboro, N.J.

The courses are geared toward staff from the chemical and processing industries, including bulk and finished pharmaceuticals, bulk and fine chemicals, detergents and soaps, petrochemicals, food and drink, plastic and rubbers, metals, textiles, paper and lumber, agrochemicals, and dyes and paints.

Each course topic will be one day for six to seven hours.

Speakers include Chilworth Technology CEO Vahid Ebadat, process safety engineer David Kaelin, Chilworth flammability group manager Anand Kenchenpur, Chilworth process safety specialist Muhammad Qureshi, Swati Umbrajkar, acting manager of the Chilworth's chemical process evaluation group, senior process safety specialist Peter Engstrom and Chilworth Technology senior process safety specialist Steven Luzik.

Other upcoming courses will take place June 6-19 in Plainsboro, Sept. 12-16 in Schaumburg, Ill., and Oct. 17-21 in Las Vegas.
