Mettler Toledo has launched GWP Verification, a new service to help customers achieve better weighing results, lower equipment-testing expenses, and enhance final product consistency through a systematic, expert assessment and benchmarking of balance performance.
GWP Verification assesses the performance of weighing equipment to ensure accuracy. Using a fit gap analysis, a manufacturer’s balance performance is measured against accuracy requirements and standards of the balance’s OEM. Experts then review current quality management efforts and balance testing regimens.
Performance is compared with ideal operating standards to determine if a customer’s current tests and testing schedules can ensure accuracy. If not, recommendations are made to establish helpful weight classes, safe-range nominal values and effective testing frequencies.
