Low-Cost Thermocouple/Millivolt Expansion Module

GE Fanuc Intelligent Platforms, a unit of GE Enterprise Solutions, announces the availability of a module for its VersaMax Micro controller that offer productivity and flexibility in a cost-effective solution. The VersaMax Micro Thermocouple (Type K, J, E, S, T, B or N)/Millivolt (± 50mV or 100mV) Expansion module can be used in a range of temperature monitoring/controlling and weighing applications.

There are two module types available: one has four thermocouple inputs and two analog outputs, while the other has four thermocouple inputs and no analog outputs. The new modules can also be used with the QuickPanel control as a low-cost I/O solution.
