Controller Improves Inline Blending

The PMA KS 98-1 industrial process controller reportedly enhances the accuracy, speed and functionality of inline blending applications. Said to be ideal for batch mixing of liquid, gas and solid ingredients, the device enables control of ratio and sums, features a selectable master set point and monitors valve operation. The controller’s internal application program uses nine control loops, for up to five separate blending lines. A gradient feature for set point changes, e.g., at the start and end of each stage of the blending process, enables quick and effective handling of fluctuations in the process.
