High-Pressure Flange Kit Is NSF Certified

The new Corzan High-Pressure Flange Kit is specifically designed for use with a Corzan CPVC one-piece flange to connect to pumps, valves or other transitions. The combination of the Corzan High-Pressure Flange Kit and Corzan CPVC one-piece flange results in a connection with the same pressure bearing capability as the rest of the CPVC piping system.  This means the flanged joint is no longer limited to the 150 psi rating of typical CPVC flanges, according to the company.
 
The specially designed high-pressure flange kit from The Lubrizol Corp., makers of Corzan CPVC compounds, includes a Garlock Stress Saver XP gasket, certified by NSF International to ANSI/NSF Standard 61.  It is also the first gasket tested and qualified for inclusion in the FGG/BM/CZ System Compatible Program, proving it to be chemically compatible with Corzan CPVC, notes Lubrizol. 
 
The flange kit also includes the necessary installation hardware and a specially designed metal backing ring that allows more torque on the bolts without concerns of damaging the CPVC flange.  The assembled flange system meets the strict pressure bearing requirements as defined by ASTM F1970, providing even greater installer confidence.
