The ASI 35 provides performance for helium and hydrogen tracer gases in integral and localizing test procedures.

The Pfeiffer Vacuum ASI 35 modular leak detector is designed for use by leak detection machine builders, system integrators and end-users. The ASI 35 provides performance for the tracer gases helium and hydrogen in integral and localizing test procedures or a combination of both. It offers flexibility in testing of industrial samples with minimum signal background and crosstalk.

The modular design of the ASI 35 minimizes space requirements. The optional user interface can be controlled by PC or PLC. Only two cables are needed to connect the vacuum and electronic modules.

The ASI 35 features a turbo pump for high helium pumping speed and dual independent long-life filaments. The leak detection system can be used in vacuum or sniffing test modes. The ASI 35 sustains high throughput and reportedly ensures the accuracy and reproducibility of the measurement results as well as fast cycle times.

The electronics module is suitable for universal voltage. The leak detector is designed for working conditions in ambient temperatures up to 45 °C. Mechanical integration is complemented by a wide range of interfaces. A customized I/O  configuration permits a basic version of the ASI 35 leak detector to be operated without a PC or PLC.
