UltraGreen high-pressure water jet pump units, the latest convertible units from NLB Corp., feature environmentally-friendly Tier 4F engines that comply with the latest EPA emissions regulations. UltraGreen engine technology improves fuel efficiency and increases torque, making it practical for pump units with smaller engines to handle bigger jobs.
NLB offers an UltraGreen package on many of its 30 convertible high-pressure pump units. All feature high efficiency, easy maintenance and fast conversion to a variety of operating pressures, often up to 40,000 psi (2,760 bar). Units are trailer-mounted for easy towing to job sites, and are available for sale or rent at NLB’s six regional U.S. branches.
Tier 4F certification is required in California and in all areas of the United States where EPA air quality standards have not yet been attained, and substantial fines can be levied for non-compliance, according to NLB. Certification is also required to qualify for DOT and public works projects in a number of states and localities, and is expected to become a national standard. UltraGreen units can be used in all 50 states.
