Jerguson Gage teams with Endress + Hauser for liquid level indication and control

Jerguson Gage and Endress + Hauser have combined two measurement devices for liquid level indication and control. Available through Jerguson Gage, the Model MGWR provides redundant level measurement through the combined use of the Magnicator II Magnetic Level Gage and the Endress + Hauser’s Levelflex, an independent guided-wave radar level transmitter.

The combination of the independent Magnicator II level gage and the guided-wave radar level transmitter increases both plant and personnel safety by providing independent and redundant level indication and control in one device. The Magnicator II features magnetic circuit and state-of-the-art flag or LED indication systems, which eliminate errors. The guided-wave radar level transmitter provides a level measurement that is totally independent of product density, resulting in true redundant technology. Using Levelflex’s patented “end-of-probe algorithm” and “gas phase compensation” provides the safety and accuracy demanded by today’s plant operators.
