Researcher at University of Bath wins award for work on advanced fluids

Dechema, the German Society for Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, Frankfurt, has selected Ulrich Hintermair as recipient of the Willi Keim Prize for fundamental and original research in the field of advanced fluids. Hintermair, Whorrod Resarch Fellow at the Centre for Sustainable Chemical Technologies at the University of Bath, Bath, U.K., is being recognized for his work on the design of catalytic systems based on molecular complexes in alternative fluids and solid matrices.

The biennial Keim Award, which is limited to younger scientists, carries a €2,000 prize. It will be awarded on October 16th 2016 during the Green Solvents Conference in Kiel, Germany.
