Survey Seeks Industry Take On Expected Impact Of Brexit

Jan. 16, 2018
Survey seeks to discover the expectations of companies regarding the business impact of Brexit.

Companies can contribute their views on the anticipated business impact of Brexit by participating in a new survey conducted by Chemical Watch. The survey, based on the assumption that the U.K. does leave the European Union, was developed with input from the British Alliance of Chemical Associations, as well as contacts in British and E.U. regulatory bodies, according to the publication.

The survey is broken up into different sections depending on a respondent’s specific criteria. The survey asks companies “which chemicals regulatory outcome would give them the greatest confidence in being able to maintain business stability and growth.” It also asks firms to share their thoughts on whether Brexit might cause them to leave the U.K. or create new operations there, and if they see any potential competitive advantages in Brexit.
