Jennifer Abril is the new CEO and president of the Society of Chemical Manufacturers & Affiliates (SOCMA). Abril’s first day is October 24, according to SOCMA.
Abril comes to SOCMA from the International Fragrance Association where she was president and executive director since 2008. Prior to that, she worked two years for SOCMA and seven years for the American Chemistry Council. Abril has a B.A. in international service from The American University and a Master's degree in business management from The University of Maryland.
