Siemens' MCCs are catalog standards.

Siemens’ motor control centers (MCCs) are now available as a standard catalog offering.  The new offer eliminates the need for a customized quote or negotiated lead times for new MCCs and units (replacement buckets).

Traditionally, MCCs needed to be configured, customized and engineered for each order resulting in a lead time of multiple weeks.  Catalog MCC units and structures will ship as soon as five days after an order is entered, according to the company.

The new standard MCCs are available for industries such as water and wastewater, food and beverage, oil and gas, cement and mining, and pulp and paper. Customized MCC units and structures are still available for projects that need engineered MCCs.
