Clariant Receives FDA Cosmetics Ingredients Certification

Clariant is now ISO 22716 certified for all U.S. cosmetics ingredients sites through the Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition, FDA, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Clariant is now ISO 22716 certified for all U.S. cosmetics ingredients sites through the Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition, Food and Drug Administration, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The ingredients are used in Clariant’s personal care product lines. ISO 22716 provides guidelines for the production, control, storage and shipment of cosmetic products, according to the International Organization for Standardization.

Clariant’s 22 dedicated cosmetics ingredient sites globally, throughout Europe, Asia and Mexico, are Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP) certified from the European Federation for Cosmetic Ingredients (EFcii).
