Save Energy Now LEADER Program Is Underway

Members signed a voluntary pledge to reduce their industrial energy intensity by 25% over the next 10 years.

In early December the Industrial Technologies Program (ITP) Save Energy Now LEADER initiative was launched with the help of 32 companies representing a broad range of the U.S. industrial sector. At the event, which was hosted by The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE),  the 32 LEADER Companies signed a voluntary pledge to reduce their industrial energy intensity by 25% over the next 10 years. The companies were recognized for their examples of leadership by being the first to partner with DOE in the new initiative, committing to aggressive energy intensity reduction goals and a clean energy future.
