A regional office of the European Process Safety Centre (EPSC) opened in June in Frankfurt, Germany. This marks an intensification of the long-standing cooperation between the center and the German Society for Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (Dechema), Frankfurt, Germany, says Dechema. “This is an important landmark in the history of the Centre and represents a great opportunity for both parties to work together in raising the profile of plant and process safety across Europe,” adds Piet Knijff, Chair of EPSC.

EPSC is based at the headquarters of the Institution of Chemical Engineers in Rugby, U.K.
