Authors Tackle Realities Of Behavior-Based Safety

May 9, 2017
The latest book by ProAct Safety principals describes how to build efficiencies and employee engagement into your safety processes.

The authors of STEPS to Safety Culture Excellence and Forecasting Tomorrow: The Future of Safety Excellence, and principals of ProAct Safety, announce their latest release, Lean Behavior-Based Safety: BBS for Today’s Realities, is available for pre-order on Amazon. The anticipated release date is June 6, 2017.

While several versions of BBS have been around since the 1980s, few of them have truly adapted to the changing environment in which they must operate, according to the authors. The Lean BBS process has not only evolved, but reportedly continues to do so with each customized implementation. The authors say making BBS fit a company’s culture, operations and logistical realities, rather than trying to make a company fit some idealistic model, is a key to success.
