Mettler Toledo Seminar Addresses Process Chemistry And Scale-Up

Aug. 4, 2015
An upcoming online symposium from Mettler Toledo features researchers from Lubrizol, Pfizer, and Merck.

An upcoming online symposium from Mettler Toledo entitled, “Process Chemistry and Scale-up” features researchers from Lubrizol, Pfizer and Merck. The free online seminar takes place on September 24 at 1 p.m. EDT.

Process development project timelines often require informed decisions with limited process understanding.  Established methods have been developed to facilitate rapid process understanding and optimization using a limited number of experiments. The two-hour online seminar focuses on applications surrounding process chemistry and scale-up in the chemical, pharmaceutical and petrochemical industries.  Each talk is followed by a live question and answer session with the presenter.

Glenn Cormack of Lubrizol will present, "Connecting the Dots Between Benchtop and In Situ Process Analytics: How Lubrizol Uses Efficient Scale-up and Process Control.”  Shane Grosser of Merck will present, "Rapid Decision Making Enabled Through Chemical Process Intensification.” David Place of Pfizer will present, "Impurity Profiling, Kinetics and Representative Sampling From Reaction Slurries.”

The seminar is designed for chemists and chemical engineers in the chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries, as well as academia.  There is no fee to attend; however, registration is required.
