Transmitter tackles vapor, dust, solids and liquids
The Sultan Series non-intrusive acoustic-wave transmitter offers non-contact measurement and low installation costs and combines low frequency, high power and adaptive gain technology. Easy to calibrate and commission, the transmitters are suitable for difficult-to-measure vapors, dust, solids and liquids. They emit an acoustic wave pulse, which is reflected from the surface of the material being measured. The signal is processed using specially developed software to enhance the correct signal and reject false or spurious echoes. The measured signal is temperature compensated for accuracy.

Loop-powered monitor mimics analog meters
The LSB model loop powered meter can replace analog meters and provides an automatic tricolor backlight for the LCD display and serial RS232. All field programming is via “zero and span” pots or serial I/O ports. The meter is only 1-in. front panel deep with no depth behind the panel except for the Euro screw connector. For applications requiring alarms, analog outputs, RS485, USB or Ethernet, it has a rear plug-in module only 2-in. deep behind the panel. It comes with either 101 “bars” and 4½ digits or with 101 needles and 4 digits to mimic analog meters. Mil-Spec, Nuclear, and Industrial grades as well as ones for hazardous locations are available.

Infrared monitor detects numerous gases
The MSA Chemgard Gas Monitor uses photoacoustic infrared sensing to detect a variety of industrial gases down to low parts per million or percent levels. Various output ranges are available, and the monitor is offered in three versions: explosion-proof, NEMA 4 and rack-mount. Options include heated and/or Z-purged enclosure, built-in auxiliary gas sensor, remote relay module and remote display.

Metal pump withstands harsh conditions
The 51-mm (2-in.) Pro-Flo X Original Series metal pump (PX8) is equipped with the Pro-Flo X air distribution system (ADS). The Efficiency Management System (EMS) optimizes the Pro-Flo X ADS to specific operation parameters. With a turn of an integrated control dial, the pump user selects the desired efficiency point and flow rate that best suits the application. The pump is groundable and suitable for harsh environments. It is available with aluminum, ductile iron or stainless steel wetted materials.
