Thermodynamics Researcher Wins Award

“Truly novel results” of four-year project lead to honor.

Christoph Held

The European Federation of Chemical Engineering Working Party on Thermodynamics and Transport Properties has selected Christoph Held of the Technical University of Dortmund, Germany, for its biennial Excellence Award. The panel of judges recognized him for his thesis “Measuring and Modelling Thermodynamics Properties of Biological Solutions.” He will receive a certificate and a €1,500 prize at a ceremony in Manchester, U.K., in September.Read on for more details.
