In this latest of our ongoing series of exclusive webinars, Guy Colonna, safety consultant and former division director of the National Fire Protection Association, will moderate a panel discussion that will offer insights on key issues and provide practical guidance on how to identify, evaluate and effectively address hazards.

Colonna will challenge our panelists with tough questions in order to increase awareness of the hazards and the available safeguards of fires and explosions within combustible solids processing and handling industries.

Chrissy Klocker, Applications Engineering Mgr., Industrial Air Filtration, Donaldson Company, Inc.

Chrissy Klocker is an Applications Engineering Manager with Donaldson Company’s Industrial Air Filtration business unit in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She has more than a decade of experience helping customers with technical and application guidance specific to the dust collection industry. For the past eight years, She has served on the conference planning committee, been an instructor on local exhaust ventilation design, and presented on the impact of combustible dust on dust collection equipment at the annual Michigan Industrial Ventilation Conference in East Lansing, Michigan. Ms. Klocker holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from North Dakota State University in Fargo, North Dakota, and a Master’s of Business Communication from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Jim Peters, Business Development Manager Grain & Milling, Boss Products LLC

Jim Peters is the Business Development Manager Grain & Milling for Boss Products LLC and a graduate of Kansas State University Department of Grain Science.  Jim’s career has included; flour mill maintenance and shift milling positions, mill engineering & design, pneumatic conveying & dust collection sales engineering, & regional and national sales management positions. Jim has been involved in sales training for dealers and provides technical presentations to groups such as the International Association of Operative Millers & the International Powder & Bulk Solids Exhibition. He also has participated in podcasts on technical subjects relating to combustible dust fire and explosion safety.

Josh Marion | Senior Project Engineer | Jenike & Johanson

Josh Marion is a Senior Project Engineer with Jenike & Johanson.  Josh received his B.S. and M.S. in Chemical Engineering from NorthEastern University in Boston, Massachusetts in 2013.   His graduate studies focused on magnetic formulations.  As a senior engineer for Jenike & Johanson he has been involved in troubleshooting and recommending corrective action for solids flow problems, providing recommendations to avoid solid flow related problems in new installations, and the design of customized handling equipment related to this field.  Josh is also an important member of the Jenike & Johanson training team, responsible for on-boarding new engineers and consultants at the company.
