TCO tool identifies and calculates the main components of true filter cost.

Camfil Air Pollution Control (APC) has published a new brochure that describes how to calculate total cost of ownership (TCO) for cartridge dust collector filters. Manufacturing professionals can use the methodology in the brochure to select filters that will save money while improving performance.

TCO identifies and calculates the main components of true filter cost: energy, consumables, and maintenance and disposal. Similar to life-cycle costing, a TCO evaluation is more useful than just comparing initial filter prices because it determines what it really costs to own dust collector filters over time.

The four-page brochure takes the reader through the process step-by-step, providing sample calculations and offering energy-saving tips. It helps readers to select the most economical and sustainable filters for a dust collection application.
