Instrument used for metallic, plastic and rubber tubes.

The new FDT-21 ultrasonic flowmeters from Omega are designed to measure the fluid velocity of a liquid in a full or closed pipe with accuracy of 1% and repeatability of 0.2%. Used for metallic, plastic and rubber tubes, the FDT-21 is designed for monitoring liquid flow in manufacturing, chemical treatment, automotive and biological applications.

The handheld measurement system includes a positive, negative and net totalizer, and features a four-line LCD display that improves measurement readability. It operates according to the difference in transit time of flight measured, determining flow velocity by measuring the travel time of a pulse from one transducer to the next.
