Full-Stroke PTFE Diaphragms Can Enhance AODD Pump Performance

Dec. 22, 2010
The new PTFE diaphragms use the same shaft and piston combinations as Wilden's standard rubber and TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) diaphragms.

Wilden introduces its new full-stroke PTFE (Teflon) diaphragms for use on all of its standard-setting AODD pump lines. The full-stroke design of these new diaphragms can improve pump performance with increased product displacement per stroke. This can provide for greater flow rates and higher efficiencies than are found in pumps that operate with reduced-stroke PTFE diaphragms.

The new PTFE diaphragms use the same shaft and piston combinations as Wilden's standard rubber and TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) diaphragms. This makes them retrofittable to existing pumps without the need for any extra components. The new full-stroke PTFE Diaphragms are available on 1-inch, 1.5-inch, 2-inch and 3-inch pumps.
