Oxygen Analyzer Measures Without Interference

March 8, 2010
The TDLS220 percent oxygen analyzer uses tunable diode laser spectroscopy (TDLS) to accurately measure percent of oxygen in gases. It’s unaffected by other gases in the process stream or by process stream composition changes. Thus, the TDLS220 is said to provide truly interference-free oxygen measurement. It can be easily retrofitted into existing paramagnetic oxygen analyzer installations. The system can measure up to 100 psig and work in temperatures up to 130 ºC. It has no moving parts, and all its components boast a high mean-time-to-failure rate. In addition, it requires no analyzer shelter. The calibration/validation requirement and the sample conditioning system reportedly are minimal. The TDLS220 also has the ability to store up to 14 days of historical data, including raw spectra, on the analyzer.
