Certification means system meets ISA Security requirements.

Global certification company exida has certified the RTP 3000 control system for functional integrity, ensuring that it meets the cyber-security requirements of the ISA Security Compliance Institutes' (ISCI) ISASecure Level 2. It also meets the functional safety requirements for Safety Integrity Level (SIL) 3 capable per IEC 61508.

The QUAD redundancy of the RTP 3000 provides high levels of safety integrity and availability, says exida Managing Director William Goble.

"We are impressed with RTP's technical capabilities," he says. "They have a good understanding of the issues to achieve high levels of functional safety and cyber security."
