Derek Chamberlain, Chemical Processing's art director, has been designing B2B magazines since 1999. Some of the titles in his portfolio include Refrigerated & Frozen Foods, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Plant Services, Control and Control Design. He has received more than 40 American Society of Publication Editors (ASBPE) design awards in that time (including many national awards). He also works in video production for The Journal magazine — a role he's held for more than 10 years.
Derek lived in Chicago for 20 years and recently moved to Lake Zurich, Illinois. When he’s not designing magazines, Derek can be found at live music events (playing or listening), visiting northern Wisconsin or creating unique Halloween costumes for his son.
