New user interface enables sharing across multiple plant modules.

Aveva has introduced version 12.1 of its Aveva Plant solution, which features enhanced reporting options, improved productivity and extended language support features. The new release also offers an enriched user interface that enables sharing across many of the company’s plant modules and other products.

Users are able to create report templates via a wizard and can insert images and charts, which makes it easier to use with a more professional presentation. With the standard model library, users have the ability to reuse designs from existing built-in complex components, reducing time spent on design.

Extended language support features and data exchange capabilities provide increased flexibility in multi-location projects involving different simultaneous languages. Flexibility is also enhanced by the automatic creation of symbolic-type marine drawings from the model database and from general 2D drafting functions.
