Paul D. Carrico
President and CEO
Paul D. Carrico has been a director and has served as the president and CEO of Axiall Corp. since February 2008. Before that, he had served as vice president, Chemicals and Vinyls of Axiall Corp. since October 2006 and as vice president, Polymer Group from May 2005 until October 2006. Carrico served as business manager, Resin Division of the company from 1999, when he joined the company, until May 2005. Carrico earned a master’s degree in engineering from the University of Louisville and a master’s degree in management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Chief Financial Officer
Gregory C. Thompson has served as CFO since February 2008, a role in which he manages the company’s finance and accounting, investor relations and information technology functions. Before joining the company, Thompson served as senior vice president and CFO of Invacare Corp., a medical equipment manufacturer, since 2002. Thompson began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
