Harper to Offer 2013 Carbon Fiber R&D Workshop

Workshop to feature Harper’s complete Carbon Fiber Microline research system and an advanced UHT (ultra high temperature) furnace for carbon fiber production.

Harper International, a provider of thermal processing solutions for advanced materials, will host a Carbon Fiber R&D workshop in Buffalo, N.Y., July 25-26.

The goal of the event is to connect peers in the carbon fiber research space from around the world for an opportunity to network and share insights on material and process technology innovations. On display will be Harper’s complete Carbon Fiber Microline research system and an advanced UHT (ultra high temperature) furnace for carbon fiber production.

Confirmed presenters for the technical program include Ames Laboratory, Applied NanoStructured Solutions, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Hills Inc., Iowa State University, LTI Associates, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, University at Buffalo and the University of Tennessee.

This event is free to attend, including shuttle transportation to and from the workshop and the Niagara Falls dinner/tour, as well as meals/refreshments during workshop hours as indicated in the agenda.
