Maximum number of load cells per amplifier is independent of the supply voltage.

HBM Inc. has launched a new version of its AED9101D digital transducer. The transducer’s electronics process signals from strain-gage full-bridge transducers, making them digitally available via various interfaces, such as Profibus, DeviceNet or RS232/422/485.

In the new “D” version, a stable thermal state is reached sooner after startup, making the scale ready for accurate operation almost twice as fast. In addition, the maximum number of load cells per amplifier is independent of the supply voltage.

The AED9101D can be used in various applications, including batching scales, check weighers, filling scales and many more static or dynamic scales.
