Device can communicate asset management data while providing simplified field adjustment.

United Electric Controls has unveiled the TX200H, a HART smart pressure transmitter for shale oil and gas applications. The TX200H provides a small footprint and uses the latest HART 7 specifications, which enables it to communicate asset management data while providing simplified field adjustment via a handheld device or PC.

A flexible 10:1 turndown on the pressure ranges from 0 to 15 psi (0 to 1 bar) up to 0 to 25,000 psi (0 to 1724 bar) enable the transmitters to be ranged as needed to meet customer requirements. They can use existing wiring to become an upgraded, drop-in replacement for standard analog 4-20 mA transmitters.

Constructed of 316 stainless steel, welded and hermetically sealed to meet enclosure type 4X and IP66 requirements, the TX200H is CE compliant to both PED and EMC directives. Standard approvals include cULus for Class 1, Div. 1 & 2, Zone 1 and ATEX Ex d and Ex tD hazardous areas.
