New CD-ROM Release Contains All ANSI/HI Standards

Oct. 5, 2010
Included in Version 2.2's set of 29 standards are three recent critical-content standard updates.

The Hydraulic Institute (HI) has released a new CD-ROM Version 2.2 of ANSI/HI pump standards. An update of an earlier CD offering the new release contains a full, unabridged set of all 29 current standards on one portable CD-ROM.  The cost is $950 and represents a savings of more than $1,600 over purchasing standards individually.

Included in Version 2.2's set of 29 standards are three recent critical-content standard updates: ANSI/HI 1.1-1.2 - Rotodynamic (Centrifugal) Pumps for Nomenclature and Definitions; ANSI/HI 9.6.4 - Rotodynamic Pumps for Vibration Measurements and Allowable Values; ANSI/HI 9.6.5 - Rotodynamic (Centrifugal and Vertical) Pumps for Condition Monitoring; and one new Standard ANSI/HI 9.6.6 - Rotodynamic Pumps for Pump Piping.

Version 2.2 features include searchable PDF files, hypertext links from indexes to each standard/section/page, bookmarks and annotations.  Printing and commenting are also enabled. Current users of CD-ROM Version 2.1 can upgrade to Version 2.2. No additional software is required. However, users of CD-ROM Version 2.0 who did not previously upgrade to Version 2.1 will not be able to directly advance to Version 2.2 or apply future upgrades.

Installation of CD-ROM Version 2.1 is a prerequisite for all upgrades.  For a limited time, HI will continue to sell the 2.1 CD upgrade to assist Version 2.0 users. CD-ROM Version 2.2 upgrade is available via download now at estore.Pumps.org/upgrade2-2.  The charge is $100.00. HI members receive a $25 discount.
