Mid-West Instrument introduces a new line of 220/240 explosion-proof differential indicating switches. The lightweight and ruggedly compact-designed family of indicating switches are CSA, UL and ATEX certified. As a condition of continuing certification, Mid-West Instrument is subject to unannounced audits by all certifying bodies. This applies to the entire assembly as mandated by the applicable hazardous locations standards.   

Benefits of the 220/240 indicating switches include compact, lightweight aluminum (or 316/316L); weather-resistant, 4.5-inch gauge front; ATEX Ex d IIB+H2 ExII 2GD IP65 classification; CSA certified and UL listed: Class I, Division I Groups B, C, and D; half-inch FNPT cable or conduit entry; and over range protection and five-year warranty.

The  Model 220-piston style features a working pressure to 4,000 PSI (275bar) and ranges from zero to five PSID to zero to 100 PSID (0-0.35 bar to 0-7.0 bar). The Model 240-diaphragm style features total separation between high and low side, 1,500 PSI (103 bar) working pressure, and ranges from zero to 20-inch H20 to zero to 100 PSID (0-50 mbar to 0-7bar).
