Compressed Fiber Gasket Material Is Designed For High-Temperature Use

Sept. 1, 2010
Quantum gaskets are designed to adapt to conditions caused from flange irregularities and misalignments and absorb additional forces in the gasket connection.

Thermoseal Inc. introduces Klinger Quantum, a fiber-reinforced gasket material that is HNBR-bound. Klinger Quantum is designed to offer flexibility at continuously high temperatures. The HNBR (hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber) binder is intended to provide Quantum gaskets with temperature and chemical resistance so Quantum gaskets can perform after prolonged use at higher temperatures.

Quantum gaskets are designed to adapt to conditions caused from flange irregularities and misalignments and absorb additional forces in the gasket connection. Klinger Quantum gaskets are sealing an array of applications in Europe’s chemical, petrochemical, energy and food industries.
