Pressure Transmitter Features Unique HMI

June 22, 2010
ABB’s 266 series pressure transmitter platform combines electronic pressure measurement with a local human machine interface to simplify transmitter configuration and improve pressure measurement accuracy. ABB used inductive, piezoresistive or capacitive sensor technologies to enhance the individual pressure measurement of the 266 series and only modified the electronics. The new addition to ABB’s 2600T family can provide a base accuracy of ±0.025% to ±0.06%. It also features an in-field replaceable communications board, which maintains production uptime without replacing the transmitter. Through The Glass (TTG) technology provides configuration without opening the cover -- even in hazardous-rated areas. The diaphragm seals have been filled and tested for use in all services, including high-temperature and high-vacuum.
