The TSDTM (Teflon Scored Disk) comes in 1-in. to 3-in. sizes, with available rated burst pressures of 10–50 psig. If damaged or installed incorrectly, it will always rupture at or below rated burst pressure. It can be installed between ANSI raised-face pipe flanges, a plastic union holder, or custom holders at user request. The disk’s design is said to negate the need for a gasket.
