Humidity/Temperature Transmitter Is Weather Resistant

Sept. 15, 2009

Dwyer Instruments, Inc. recently announced the release of its new series WHT weather-resistant humidity and temperature transmitter.

This compact transmitter is designed to withstand the elements. The housing is rated NEMA 3S and includes a sintered filter to protect the sensor. The transmitter is available with either 4 to 20 mA, 0 to 5 V, or 0 to 10 VDC outputs for both humidity and temperature. Passive RTD and thermistor outputs are available to monitor the temperature. The sensor is able to fully recover from saturation. The Series WHT is ideal for measuring outside air temperature and humidity for building automation applications.
