Photometer Monitors Liquids, Slurries and Process Gases

May 12, 2009
Hamilton Sundstrand’s Applied Instrument Technologies introduces its new RPM View Raman photometer as part of the RPM line of Raman process analyzers. The RPM View photometer’s technology features a direct coupled sampling design that is said to eliminate the need for expensive fiber optic sampling. In addition to liquids and slurries, the high throughput design also allows the monitoring of process gases providing the ability to measure gaseous diatomic species in a wide variety of chemical compositions, according to the company. For example, for the first time a single analyzer is able to measure H2, Cl2, N2 or O2 and organic chemicals.
