Wear Protection Systems Work Well In High Abrasion, High Impact Scenarios

March 5, 2009

Abresist Corp., a Kalenborn Co., introduces two new Keraflex wear protection systems consisting of Alresist high alumina ceramics or Kalmetall hard overlay welding plates vulcanized to a steel base. These systems are said to be well suited where high abrasion and impact occur in combination. Maximum operating temperature is 176 degrees F.

Keraflex reduces noise and is good for use in transfer chutes, belt conveyor systems and impact zones in bunkers and silos, according to the company.  These wear protection systems are produced in standard panels up to 20 inches square, with welded studs or countersunk bolting attachments.
