Transmitter Evaluates General and Localized Corrosion

Sept. 15, 2008
CorrTran MV is the first 2-wire, 4-20 mA transmitter that evaluates both general and localized (pitting) corrosion, as well as conductivity, in the same industrialized transmitter housing.

CorrTran MV is the first 2-wire, 4-20 mA transmitter that evaluates both general and localized (pitting) corrosion, as well as conductivity, in the same industrialized transmitter housing.

CorrTran MV corrosion transmitters monitor online and real time corrosion rates. By combining the proven technologies of linear polarization resistance (LPR), harmonic distortion analysis (HDA), & electro-chemical noise (ECN), CorrTran MV corrosion monitoring devices provide a corrosion rate which is comparable to coupon analysis, but provides it as a process control variable. It easily integrates into a DCS or PLC.
