MadgeTech temperature logger works in rugged environments

A new, stand alone temperature logger that features a stationary base for placement inside autoclaves, ovens, dishwashers, and other harsh environ-ments is being introduced by MadgeTech, Inc. of Warner, New Hampshire.

The MadgeTech HiTemp 150 Temperature Recorder is a rugged, waterproof, device that can automatically record from -40°C to +150°C at 0 to 100% RH, with a response time of <1 minute, and can store up to 32,767 measurements. Featuring a 1¾” dia. by 1⅛” tall 316 stainless steel base that provides the stability required for data logging in harsh environments, this battery-powered unit has a 2” long rigid temperature probe and non-volatile memory.

Providing a programmable start time, the MadgeTech HiTemp 150 Temperature Recorder may be used with a PC to monitor and record data in real-time with reading intervals that can be set from 1 reading every 2 seconds to 1 every 12 hours.  Standard software includes customizable engineering units, real-time recording and alarming, overlaid graphs, and easy export to Excel®.
