American Chemical Society Launches Teachers Group

The American Chemical Society, Washington, D.C., is establishing the American Association of Chemistry Teachers (AACT). The new organization for K-12 chemistry and physical science teachers should begin operating in September of this year. AACT will aim to improve chemistry education and provide specialized resources for such teachers, which number more than one million nationwide.
