The American Chemistry Council (ACC) has launched a new blog called American Chemistry Matters to provide an interactive space where the ACC can highlight and respond to news coverage, as well as discuss how relevant policy issues are affecting innovation, competitiveness, job creation and safety.

The blog’s intended audience includes the 800,000 members of the chemistry industry, manufacturers around the world whose products are affected by chemistry, policymakers advocating on relevant issues, and the media that report on them.

Written daily by association staff and issue experts, the American Chemistry Matters blog focuses on key advocacy issues related to chemical regulation, energy, sustainability, innovation, jobs and safety. The blog also will regularly cover the chemistry industry’s contributions to society.
