Combustible Dust Roundtable

Chrissy Klocker is the Technical Services Manager with Donaldson Company's Industrial Air Filtration business unit in Bloomington, Minnesota. She has more than a decade of experience helping customers with technical and application guidance specific to the dust collection industry. For the past several years, she has instructed at the Industrial Ventilation Conference in Lansing, Michigan, where she also serves on the conference planning committee.

Josh Marion is a Senior Project Engineer with Jenike & Johanson.  Josh received his B.S. and M.S. in Chemical Engineering from NorthEastern University in Boston, Massachusetts in 2013.   His graduate studies focused on magnetic formulations.  As a senior engineer for Jenike & Johanson he has been involved in troubleshooting and recommending corrective action for solids flow problems, providing recommendations to avoid solid flow related problems in new installations, and the design of customized handling equipment related to this field.  Josh is also an important member of the Jenike & Johanson training team, responsible for on-boarding new engineers and consultants at the company.

Joseph is the West USA and Canada Regional Sales Manager at Boss Products, bringing over 20 years of electrical experience and expertise in inside sales support. In his role, he assists customers in understanding NFPA guidelines and collaborates on proposals and projects. Joseph's passion for helping others and his in-depth product knowledge drive his success in the field.

Jonathan McPherson is the director of K-State's Advanced Manufacturing and Bulk Solids Technology Center. Jonathan comes from industry having spent 11 years designing and commissioning material handling projects as a project engineer and developing business relationships in the markets of performance materials, battery and general industry as an account executive. His project backgrounds include plastics, PVC, paint, lead-acid battery, food and confectionary. Jonathan works to support the development of advanced manufacturing training by offering industry-focused short courses on bulk solids and material handling. Jonathan also manages the advanced manufacturing research program, which focuses on solving real industry problems. The program includes two lab spaces; The Materials lab focuses on the Flowability, Particle Size, Abrasion Characteristics, and other critical properties of powders and dry materials. The Process lab includes a full scale convey system, and is a new addition to K-State Olathe set to come on line in the Spring of 2026.
